Biographical note
Jan Thiele, Ph.D. (2012) at Freie Universität Berlin, is currently Research Associate at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. He has published on Islamic intellectual history and Zaydism, including Kausalität in der muʿtazilitischen Kosmologie (Brill, 2011).
