Editor-in-Chief Russell E. Martin is Professor of History at Westminster College (New Wilmington, PA, USA) and an Associate of the University Center for International Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. He received his PhD from Harvard University (1996) in History and is the author, most recently, of A Bride for the Tsar: Bride-Shows and Marriage Politics in Early Modern Russia (2012), which won the 2014 W. Bruce Lincoln Book Prize. His articles have appeared in Slavic Review, Russian Review, Russian History, Manuscripta, Kritika, Journal of Medieval and Early Modern Studies, Harvard Ukrainian Studies, Forschungen zur Osteuropäischen Geschichte, Canadian-American Slavic Studies, and elsewhere. He serves as a translator for the official webpage of the Russian Imperial House (www.imperialhouse.ru) and is a member of the Chancellery of the Head of the Russian Imperial House, Her Imperial Highness The Grand Duchess Maria of Russia. He became Associate Editor of Canadian-American Slavic Studies in 2015.
Book Review Editor Erika Monahan is assistant professor of Russian history at University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. She received her PhD from Stanford University (2007) in History. She is the author of The Merchants of Siberia: Trade in Early Modern Eurasia (forthcoming from Cornell University Press) and “Locating Rhubarb: Early Modernity’s Relevant Obscurity” in Early Modern Things, ed.
