Brill Open Biology (BOB) is a principal outlet for scholarly articles on basic biology and other life sciences. BOB is a peer-reviewed full open access journal and provides a unique platform for theoretical debates and empirical research. BOB offers a meeting space for international scholars in all fields of Biology, including: developmental biology, human biology, behaviour, biodiversity and biogeography, conservation biology, ecology & the environment, history of biology, palaeobiology, physiology including neuroscience, plant and animal structure, and systematics & evolution. Papers on applied science or clinical medicine are only accepted if they are of interest also for basic research.
This is a fully Open Access journal, which means that all articles are freely available online, ensuring maximum, worldwide dissemination of content, in exchange for an Article Publication Charge (APC). The APC for this journal is waived through December 2017! For more information, see Brill Open.
