Reviews
'In all, Professor Toaff has offered an important collection of archival documents, most given in short English summaries, but also a significant number offered untranslated and in full, which will assist any scholar attempting to gain greater insight into the history of European Jewry in the early modern period...this volume, like the ones that have preceded it, is a superb accomplishment and a significant scholarly contribution.'
