Luciano Vasapollo, Professor of economics and statistics at Università La Sapienza in Rome, and the Universidad de Habana (Cuba); director of the research centre CESTES and the journals PROTEO y NUESTRA AMÉRICA. Author of many books and honored with a 'gold medal' for contributions to the national culture in Cuba and an honory doctorate.
