The Brill Archive
Over five thousand Brill and Martinus Nijhoff archival publications uploaded to Google Book Search
Brill has made over 5,000 works from its enormously valuable archives available on Google Book Search. Brill applauds Google’s mission to organize the world’s information online, and is happy to contribute its unique archival resources to the project.
The great majority of these newly uploaded archival publications have previously been only available in printed format, predominately at academic libraries.
Researchers around the world can now consult these titles through this extended service at their desktops, subject only to the accessibility options built into the structure of the Google Book Search platform.
Your comments and suggestions would be very much appreciated, especially if:
* you feel a certain out-of-print publication should be re-issued; or
* you being an author or editor wish to exclude your work from this service.
These archival publications are in addition to the regular upload of recent titles from Brill and its imprints to Google Book Search. Since 2005, Brill has placed over 10,000 of its publications on the platform, opening up the entire content for searches including limited accessibility.
Any thoughts you would like to share on Google’s program or Brill’s participation will be most welcome. Please contact us at:marketing [at] brill [dot] com
Thank you very much for your interest in Brill’s publishing program.
