Biographical note
Loek Halman, Ph.D. (1991) is an Associate Professor in Sociology at Tilburg University. He has published extensively on values and attitudes in contemporary society and the dynamics of value change. He is involved in the European Values Study.
Inge Sieben, Ph.D. (2001) in Sociology, University of Nijmegen, is senior researcher at the Department of Sociology of Tilburg University. She published amongst others in the British Journal of Sociology, European Sociological Review, and Work, Employment and Society.
Marga van Zundert, MSc., is a freelance science writer. She publishes in science magazines, journals, and educational series, and wrote science books for children.
